Policy on the Handling of Personal Information

Our clinic recognizes that the accurate and secure handling of personal information is a vital social responsibility, and we hereby declare the following policy.

  • Our clinic shall establish and operate a compliance program concerning the protection of personal information. All representatives and staff members are required to comply with this program to ensure proper management of personal information.
  • Our clinic shall provide education and awareness training to all staff regarding the importance of personal information protection. Additionally, we shall appoint personnel responsible for managing and auditing personal information, and establish and maintain an appropriate management and audit system.
  • Our clinic shall implement security measures to prevent unauthorized access to personal information, as well as the loss, destruction, falsification, or leakage of such information.
  • With respect to the collection, use, and provision of personal information, our clinic shall respect the rights of individuals and clearly specify the purposes of collection and the scope of use, while striving for appropriate management.
  • Our clinic shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations in Japan concerning the protection of personal information.
  • Our clinic shall continually review and improve the content and effectiveness of the above activities.

  • Presentation materials for case review meetings for medical professionals such as doctors and nurses
  • Presentations at academic conferences or in academic journals
  • Responses to inquiries from other medical institutions
  • Academic outreach and educational activities related to immunotherapy, such as distributing case reports to other medical institutions by our clinic's physicians or administrative staff
  • Providing explanations of the patient’s condition to family members or caregivers
  • Basic materials used in staff training and educational programs conducted within the clinic
